Random Holidays

Located just off the coast of North Wales the Isle of Anglesey is a great place for a holiday. Near Anglesey is the historic town of Caernarfon as well as the scenic Snowdonia National Park. The island is famous for its amazing beaches and self catering holidays and watersports are very popular.

Anglesey has a terrific history with ancient sites such as Beaumaris Castle which is located in the town of Beaumaris on the islands east coast. Beaumaris Castle was built over 800 years ago during King Edward I’s of England’s reign. Beaumaris Castle was sadly never completed but is still considered to be one of the finest examples of its type in the world.

There are plenty of outdoor activities to do on Anglesey from coastal parks to farm parks. Two such parks are located at Holyhead on the western coast of the island. The Penrhos Nature Reserve is located just a few minutes from the centre of Holyhead and is a great chance to see many of the islands native species.
